2006-2014 5.7 Hemi R/T Charger/Magnum/M300
All of us at Solo Performance are proud to announce that we have our 2006-2014 Charger/Magnum/300 R/T 5.7L Hemi High Flow Converters tested and ready for sale. These are a full stainless steel converter/resonator assembly that has all stainless welds, O2 bungs, flanges, etc.
It has been a long testing process to get these R/T cats right in both sound quality and the elimination of engine lights. We have several test cars out there that all have over 1000 miles on them with no engine light issues. It’s so important to thoroughly test these High Flow Converters on multiple cars and we appreciate your interest and patience during this phase.
Solo is the only company that we know of that incorporates a resonator into a converter assembly when necessary. A by-product of the restrictive nature of the “stock” R/T converters is quietness. When we took the restriction away and opened up the converters with our Solo High Flows the noise became unbearable. We inserted a free flow Solo Mach-Resonator on each side and the exhaust note changed from “horrible” to a beautiful “8 Cylinder Symphony.”
With the addition of the Solo High Flow Cats, your current exhaust note increases in volume by approximately 20% and the note deepens, richens, and becomes more full and rounded. The throttle response is greatly improved with the Solo Charger R/T Cats. No Dyno’s have been done on the Charger but many have been done on the R/T 5.7 Challengers with significant gains.
2006-2013 R/T 5.7 Hemi Charger/Magnum.300 Solo High Flow Converter Specs:
* 200 cell stainless steel spiral wound design. This design is long lasting, ultra-high flow, and completely stainless inside and out.
* Converters are far overrated for the car, at 6.0L per side. That’s 12.0L of cleaning ability.
* Includes a special design stainless steel 3/8” thick front flange.
* All pipes, O2 bungs, and welds are stainless steel.
* For sound reasons we had to incorporate a free flow resonator behind the converter. With just the converter, the sound was horrible. With the addition of the resonator we now have great sound (about 15%-20% more noise overall) and performance.
* These converters are not CARB certified for the R/T, but they do pass all emissions and keep the CEL light off. They are technically for off road use only.
* Each converter assembly is about 4 feet long. It goes from the manifold to the first connection.
* No CEL or engine lights to date!
* Solo O2 extenders (supplied) are required in the rear O2 bungs.
* 100% BOLT ON!

First let me say I think these are the best high flow cats on the market. I’m very excited they have installed resonators to eleminate drone, and added O2 extensions to keep cel’s from popping up. To think the gains the 6.1L has the R/T must be great.
They look like a well engineered fantastic product.
Installed these under some race ramps. There is definitely power in these. You can really feel it in the low end. They stock o2 reaches but just barely. I don’t regret this purchase one bit. An amazing product all around.
I’ve had these on for a little over 700 miles now. No cel’s, or anything. On the trip home for 350 miles, and during in-town driving, low to mid-range response seems improved. During this i was only running the stock tune.
Took my car to the Dyno today. The car is almost bone stock, it has an AEM cold air that picks up behind the front bumper and has a complete Solo Exhaust. I was one of the testers for Solo I believe this was the second set of R/T Cats they built, the car has 7,000 miles with no tuning. ABSOLUTELY NONE we didnt even buy the diablo till last week not once did we see the CEL. First pull was with the car as it has been driven for the last 7,000 miles. (I do not have the dyno sheets right now but will post them early next week). On the first pull the car made 345Hp and 366Ft-lb. The air fuel ratio was at 12.2 so to those that are worried about this DONT BE.
When the tuning was done the car was at 362Hp and 388Ft-lb. I took a video and the sound wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but I will try to get that up when the Dyno sheets are posted. There was a guy there watching and he had a blown 2000 Vette with a magnaflow exhaust he commented on how good the car sounded then I told him how quiet it is on the highway he immediately took down Solos name. Thank you Solo for your customer service and the opportunity to be a tester for you.
