Description

The GXP-Race exhaust system was developed primarily for the Auto Cross and other racers out there. It’s a full 3” polished mandrel bent single exhaust system that exits only on the driver’s side. It’s a no frills, light weight, no muffler exhaust kit designed for the enthusiastic racer.

Here are some attributes of our GXP-Race system:
• Solo’s loudest exhaust kit for the turbo GXP.
• Fully polished stainless steel cat back exhaust kit.
• Includes all necessary hardware for installation.
• Classed as a full bodied nosier exhaust kit.
• Recommended for the enthusiast.
• This is a no drone exhaust kit with no muffler.
• This is a single exhaust.

Race Kit

Front Pipe:
• 3” mandrel bent polished stainless steel.
• Laser cut stainless steel flange.
• Extra hanger included for support.
• Heavy duty double braided flex pipe is used.
• A very precise hand made flare is on the front pipe to alleviate having to reduce the pipe to 2 ½”.
• The front pipe mates to the stock 2 ½” catalytic converter or our full 3” free flow converter.

Rear Section:
• 3” mandrel bent polished stainless steel.
• There is no muffler or tip on this kit.

Stats:
• 27 HP increase, 10 extra foot pounds of torque increase.

IT’S HERE!!! My SP Race system arrived today and it’s BOOOOTYFUL!!

All smooth bends, shiny SS just like was promised. It’s also HUGE! Reminds me of those Alpine horns in the Riccola commercials! I understand now why the shipping cost, the box is as big as a coffin and musta had 3 cases of peanuts in it. I’m glad it’s in two sections, I’d hated to have to manuever it around under the car in one piece. I can’t wait until Sat to put it on and hear/feel it in action.

We took our car to the dealership yesterday to have the alignment tweaked. EVERYONE had to come out to the service bay and hear our exhaust! They all thought it sounded great and most couldn’t believe there was no muffler, they had to look underneath to prove it to themselves.
